The Planar 2 was developed over two years alongside the latest Planar 3, designed to extract the maximum detail from your vinyl collection. It features the RB220 tonearm, a new 24 V low noise motor, an acrylic high gloss laminated plinth, and a newly designed central bearing.

The RB220 tonearm is engineered with groundbreaking features to enhance performance and simplify setup. It includes Rega's ultra-low friction bearings (Patent Pending), a stiffer and lightweight bearing housing, and the latest adjustable bias feature (updated in Autumn 2020). The tonearm also includes an integrated arm clip and Rega's custom aluminum arm tube.
