Robin is a one-of-a-kind Bluetooth 4.1 Receiver & Transmitter. It serves as a portable adapter between BT and non-BT devices. Robin is eqipped with the most advanced CSR BC 8670 chipset. This, along with Apt-X, enables it to reproduce high-fidelity, low -latency sound without any loss in quality.

You can use this multi-function, all-in-one BT device to send (transmit) wireless audio signals from mobiles, TV, music player and computer to BT speakers, BT headphones and other BT receivers. It can also be connected to speakers, earphones & headphones to receive sound from smartphones, tablets, laptops, BT Tvs etc.

A pair of Robins allow you to connect any two non-BT devices wirelessly. For eg: Non-BT TV to normal speakers.

Best of all, Robin weighs just 18 grams and is only as big as a cheese cube. So you can carry it around with you wherever you go and enjoy seamless connectivity at all times.

Let us learn how to use Robin:

Charging:

1) Make sure that your device is fully charged before first use. Robin has a convenient micro-usb port for charging.

2) Red LED flashes 3 times repeatedly to indicate that the battery is low.

3) While charging, the LED glows a stable red.

4) LED light turns off when the device is fully charged.

To Receive Audio:

1) Make sure that the power is off. Do this by pressing the power button for 3 seconds.

2) Switch to RX (Reception Mode)

3) Long press the multi-function (power) button. The device is now on in reception mode.

4) It usually enters pairing mode automatically. Pairing mode is indicated by quick flashing of blue and red LED.

5) If not in pairing mode, simply double press the MFB in quick succession. Blue and red LED will start flashing constantly. Robin is now pairing.

6) Pair with a bluetooth device and connect to speaker/headset using the cable with 3.5 mm jack. Enjoy!

To transmit audio to two devices simultaneously:

1) Robin can transmit audio to two BT devices (speaker, headphones etc.) simultaneously. We will name these two devices as A and B. Engage transmission mode in Robin.

2) Pair with deivce A. Then power off device A.

3) Pair with device B. Then power off Robin.

4) Power on device A.

5) Power on Robin. It will search and connect with both A & B automatically. If it does not do so. Simply shut it down and power on again.

6) If it still doesn't work (very unlikely), repeat the entire process again.

To receive audio from two BT devices simultaneously

1) In reception mode, Robin can CONNECT to two BT devices but obviously, it cannot play music from both of them at the same time. You have to pause one device and play through the other one.

2) So what is the use of connecting to two devices? Well, you can switch between devices very easily once both are connected. You don't have to go through the pairing process every single time. Play one song from device A and the next from device B, without any gap in between.

3) Pair Robin with device A. Then switch off BT of device A.

4) Double click the MFB to induce pairing mode in Robin. Red and Blue LED will begin to flash quickly.

5) Pair with device B. Then power off Robin.

6) Switch on the BT in device A. Power on Robin. It will connect automatically to both devices.

Pairing Two Robins:

You can use two Robins to connect two non-BT devices wirelessly. For example: Connect a non-BT TV to a non-BT speaker. Simply put one Robin in TX mode and the other in RX mode. Pair and Enjoy!

Note: The Robin that is attached to the TV will be in TX mode while the one that is attached to the Speaker will be in RX mode, since it is receiving audio.
